The mysterious fist of Wudang
Wudangshan is a traditional place for daoist worship, through centuries its daoist comunnity has flourished and endured hardship. During this time a very unique kind of wushu or kung fu has been developed, regarded as the cradle of Taijiquan, Wudang mountains has always been famous for its daoist martial artists. This special kind of kung fu, is embedded with daoist principles like " the soft overcomes the hard", "the interchange of yin and yang", where fast and slow, high and low, strength and suppleness, stillness and movment are some examples of this constant mutation . The Bagua trigrams, the five elements , the naturalistic view of life and the search for a healthy longevity are all ideas that helped cast this mysterious, unique and holistic approach to kung fu.
Many knowledge has been lost, but since the end of the last century many daoist masters took upon themselves to bring back what was inherited to them and save it from oblivion for the future generations, and now thanks to this effort Wudang kung fu has started to flourish again.
At our school, we have the mission to spread the Wudang Longmen pai knowledge that was inherited to Wang shifu in an uninterrupetd line of daoists masters from the sacred mountain. The three pilars of Wudang wushu are Baguazhang, Xingyquan and Taijiquan each with a different style and intentions. Our Wudangquan is soft and explosive, strong and flexible, round and fluid, it can be practiced by the young or the more mature practitioners, and more importantly , it combines external training with inner cultivation.

Baguazhang
Spinning, twisting, spiraling, flowing without stop, changing directions without loosing balance or aim, moving like a dragon, flexible yet powerful, Baguazhang, the palm of the 8 trigrams, is one of the most difficult internal styles of kung fu to grasp.

Overwhelming, powerful and explosive, moving straight throught the oponent like a spear, this internal style is simple and direct but by far the most combative and aggressive of the three pilars of Wudangquan.

OUR COURSES INCLUDE
Baguazhang program
Focus on developing the skills needed to perform Baguazhang and learn the applications for combat.
Xingyiquan program
Strong and unrelentless training must be endured to be able to achieve a good profieciency skill of Xingyquan, aplicability is a very serious matter and so requieres a lot of dedication.
Taijiquan program
Taijiquan beautifull moves should be accomapined with a good understanding of the philosphy behind it whether you are interested in its health benefits or in its combative facet, we like to teach in a holsitic approach to this profound martial art.
Yangshenggong program
Learn and develop the practices to attain a lifestyle for cutlivating longevity, health, tranquility and mindfullness. Qigong, meditation and other traditional daoist methods will be taught in this program. It is important to have a minimum background on traditional chinese medicine and its philosphy to obtain the best results.
Holistic program
Practice all the diferent sides of our kung fu, learn qigong, meditation, wushu , weapons or taiji and its aplications, go as deep as you can in this never ending path of knowledge, this course is for all levels from begginers to advanced and accoirding tho each perosn intersets and abilities more complex excercies will be taught
Instructor program
This program is not aimed for begginers, we take this very seriously, our instructors must spend long term stays at our school, and have the serious commitment to keep coming back to continue learning and improving. We will also check your background in wushu and skills level to decide wether this can be attained. Learning or knowing chinese language is also a must.
