"Cultivate Jing and turn it into Qi, cultivate Qi and turn it into Shen, cultivate Shen and turn into into void, from the void return to the Dao"

JING - ESSCENCE

Jing or esscene is the first of the three treasures our body contains,  we cultivate it so to mantain healthy strong organs, of the three treasures it is the more closely associated to our physical body so we cultivate it through movements like Taijiquan or Qigong .

Qi - VITAL ENERGY

Qi is commonly translated as vital energy, but it so much more, Qi can be energy or different functions of our internal organs, it can be the vital energy that permates the whole universe, it can be breath or food or rest, cultivate Qi the second treasure in our bodies through qigong practices to maintain our internal organs working properly and achieve longevity .

SHEN - SPIRIT

The third treasure of our body, the spirit, but unlike western traditions in Daost thinking Shen is the combination of spirit, heart and mind, through different practices like standing or sitting meditation we cultivate it so to become aware of our connection with our nature and so achieve the greatest of all feats in daoist traditions, to return to the Dao.
